Woke up yesterday afternoon to the sound of my alarm clock malfunctioning. It was immediately apparent/clear as day that today was going to be a total wreck/disaster/nightmare. My breakfast/coffee/pet was gone missing/totally messed up. I tripped over nothing/the dog/a random object and website spilled coffee on myself/knocked over my vase/broke my phone. Driving to work, I got stuck in the worst traffic jam ever. And to top it all off, my boss yelled at me/I realized I forgot my presentation/the office air conditioning broke. Honestly, this day was just awful.
